Creating a corporate IP-based network for OJSC "TNK-Nyagan"
Modernization of the telecommunications infrastructure of the enterprise and providing employees with access to advanced IP-telephony services .
The project to implement a corporate IP-based network was implemented using hardware and software from Cisco and software of its own production CTI - the billing system CTI Billing.
The following challenges were addressed during the project implementation:
- Creating a high-speed local area network to arrange a single telecommunications space for TNK-Nyagan;
- Upgrading the existing telephone network and converting from the plain old telephone system to digital technologies;
- Introducing a fault-tolerant IP telephony infrastructure based on three Cisco Unified Communication Manager servers, capable of serving up to 7,500 subscribers.
OJSC "TNK -Nyagan " has been able to give up the 1000 high-cost direct local numbers and automate the flow of incoming calls using the auto attendant . Using the interface IP- phone, the company's employees had the opportunity to use multiple services such as search and call someone through the corporate directory feature to stop ringing , call pickup , the creation of open conferences, intercom , etc. The organization of corporate IP-based networks allow video calls between remote offices of " , TNK -Nyagan "with the help of the latest models of IP- phones and Cisco 9971 software Cisco VT Advantage.
